March 9 update
The early tulips and daffodils have been blooming for over a week as has the muscari.
The peach and nectarine are in full bloom and the Winter Nellis is beginning to bloom but not the Comice. I have been attempting hand pollination with blooms from some of the Flowering Pears in the area. Both of the apricots have set fruit. I sprayed the apricot, peach and nectarine thees with copper and neem oil before bloom (Early February?) and once or twice before that. It has been a dry winter until now but we seem to be in for at least a week of rain.
Tomato seedlings, Better Bush and Season Starter , planted Feb 6, are getting a third leaf. Agro, planted Feb 14 have two healthy leaves and have been transplanted into individual peet pots. Eggplant and peppers planted at the same time as Agro Tomatoes are just showing signs of true leaves.
Bed 1 onion transplants from Parks
Bed 2 sugar snap peas beets started in place from seed in fall. Peas grew much faster than beets so don't interplant again. Buttercrunch lettuce from pony pack in late January.
Bed 6 garlic Spanish Roja? fall planted, onion Copa on right fall plant seeds, onions on left transplant volunteers, carrots yaya fall from seed.
Bed A peas lace and spinach Matador started from seed late January.
Lettuce started 2/6, some planted into bed A and some into bed 5.
